Norway

See the Northern Lights in Tromsø or explore Bergen while enjoying a good meal. Get to know Norway's most popular seaside city.

Bergen

The seaside city of Bergen is a big city in Norway, but it is still known for its small-town charm and charm. Immerse yourself in Bergen life and take a walk around the famous Bryggen Marina and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Here, the fresh seaside air is mixed with the aroma of local cuisine wafting from the top restaurants on the shore.

But Bergen isn't just about food and the sea. Norway's second-largest city is surrounded by seven peaks in the city centre, with plenty of cultural activities and world-famous pop stars Kego and Alan Walker.

Tromsø

Whether you want to enjoy the wonders of the Northern Lights, whale watching or tasting Arctic seafood, Tromsø is the ideal travel destination for you. Located 350 km north of the Arctic Circle, this scenic coastal city is the largest city in northern Norway.

Tromsø is also a place for the adventurous, with a variety of activities such as fishing, hiking, dog sledding and kayaking. From late May to late July, under the midnight sun, you can enjoy a variety of activities day and night.

Stavanger

With more than 170 chalets, long white beaches, stunning fjords – whether you're travelling with family, partner or friends, Stavanger is a great destination. Located in the Norwegian fjords, this low-key city is one of Norway's largest cities. Although Stavanger is home to many people, the city center is not crowded at all.

There's nothing better than walking around the city center along the narrow streets that wind between wooden houses. You can have lunch or stop for a photo at Øvre Holmegate, where you can see many candy-colored houses. If you're feeling adventurous, put on a pair of sturdy boots and hike to the world-famous Pulpreaching Rock (just a 1.5-hour drive from Stavanger).

Ålesund

In Ålesund, mountains, fjords and the sea meet and wondering what this is like? Climb the 418 steps to the Aksla Viewpoint for a stunning panoramic view of the city of Ålesund (you can also take photos from below).

Ålesund and its surroundings are arguably the most popular places in Norway for tourists. This "Art Nouveau town" is located on several islands that stretch all the way to the Atlantic Ocean, making it a great place to start your vibrant holiday in the region.
